Of the 100+ folks who participate for each game, 4 vehicles were allowed to park. The designated team for each home game were given the 4 parking passes so they could set up and prepare for the game meal.

Not sure if this has been brought up but what about setting up a separate tailgate area behind the fraternity houses or in the field next to the fraternity houses? I know in the field next to them people park a lot but the fields behind them I think that would be perfect. Plenty space and easy walk to the stadium.

Group 2 - Unhappy that regular routine is broken, unhappy that they will be required to carry things and walk. Will have to trek 50 yards after game to get car, then flow against traffic to pick up things, will have wife and kids screaming bc they're tired and ready to get to bed.

If you had to pick, which group do you think will be a potential threat when driving at night where kids are running around? The group that is saying relax and take your time? Or the group that is ____ed off about change and safety, and will be in a rush to get home?
I never see kids running around at night, just saying. After the first game, the group that thinks this is the end of the world will realize it's not. They will never admit it but they will think to themselves, man I really did make a big deal about nothing.

It would be the perfect expansion area.

However they want to keep the Intramural Fields "playable" and at some point vehicles require shell or rock beds.

Yeah so this myth of how terrible it will be to get "back in" from behind the hilton is false. You will be able to drive your vehicle from your rcaf spot directly to your TG spot. For people who have never actually done it this way, y'all sure do already know how horrible it is.

The more these people keep saying this makes me thinks they have never seen the clock hit zero. I'm telling you, this isn't a big deal. People are lazy or impatient. That's it, this is either bothering people because they will be at the field an extra 20 minutes or they will have to walk an extra 100 yards. You cannot convince me it's safer to have cars driving around during tailgate. This whole double the traffic thing is not true, you come in a gate pull up drop your stuff off and go park, at this point TG area will not be slammed with people. After the game go to your car make your way towards the gravel cut across as if you were leaving the stadium by the track, instead when you get to gravel turn into TG area. At this point there will be hardly anyone in the TG area. Load your things, by the time you do that traffic will be gone and you drive straight out. It would be the same as if you sat in the bumper to bumper traffic to get out.
I know, I have been one of the few who comes back in.

After the game I walk to near Blackham on the Intramural side to get my vehicle and go back to visit with a few tailgaters I know.

If every tailgater did what I did it would not be good and I don't even go into the tailgating area I park along Cajun Walk near the stadium

    Nope.

There are hundreds of people who tailgate in this area who have no idea what we are talking about because the ADMIN. never informed them and they don't frequent this board.

    Insanity.

    Oh I agree with you.

Im only suggesting PO'd people and families trying to get home bc their azz is on fire will be the only reason it isn't safe.

I think he may be referring to field next to Soroity houses. That would be a good spot.
