Parking isn't the problem, extra driving around is.

Unfortunately like I said earlier, the people who do it right have to suffer for the idiots. That's usually the way everything goes. Most probably use their spot in a safe way but a lot don't. It only takes 1 idiot.

The year after a UL employee ran over fans, golf carts were no longer allowed at Cajun Field. Smart move, remove harms way.

Asking families to traverse harms way is a different story. Arms full didn't see traffic. ...

Then to allow cars back in at night? Not so smart move.

Forget it Turbine.

They won't see the disaster that this plan is until someone gets hurt or worse.

Hopefully, our concerns will not materialize, but I fear it will be just a matter of time.

I see it as 2 groups of people regarding the picking up of things after games:

Group 1 - Ok with it, will make plans to either pack up things before kick off or relax after the game, let traffic clear, then load up.

Group 2 - Unhappy that regular routine is broken, unhappy that they will be required to carry things and walk. Will have to trek 50 yards after game to get car, then flow against traffic to pick up things, will have wife and kids screaming bc they're tired and ready to get to bed.


If you had to pick, which group do you think will be a potential threat when driving at night where kids are running around? The group that is saying relax and take your time? Or the group that is ____ed off about change and safety, and will be in a rush to get home?

So most park in the lot? They won't be parking behind the hilton right?

Of the 100+ folks who participate for each game, 4 vehicles were allowed to park. The designated team for each home game were given the 4 parking passes so they could set up and prepare for the game meal.

Not sure if this has been brought up but what about setting up a separate tailgate area behind the fraternity houses or in the field next to the fraternity houses? I know in the field next to them people park a lot but the fields behind them I think that would be perfect. Plenty space and easy walk to the stadium.

I never see kids running around at night, just saying. After the first game, the group that thinks this is the end of the world will realize it's not. They will never admit it but they will think to themselves, man I really did make a big deal about nothing.
