Those spoiled people are only spoiled because they've been doing this since the ____ing Baldwin days, if not sooner. While I agree to a degree, lets also understand that the administration needs to be very careful how they interact with fans and what decisions affect who. Their track record is still in a state of repair and it would be wise to not turn away nor ignore the fans that helped get you where you are and want to go

If anyone even reads the message, they will probably not care for this simple reason: For every angry person that doesn't like the new rules, there is a person on the waiting list that would gladly pay (and probably a lot more) for the same exact spot, not complain about anything, and be totally overjoyed that they were even awarded a spot.




SUMMARY: The university is going to make the same amount of money either way. Guess which group of people they would rather deal with?

i didnt read all of this 15th thread about tailgating changes cause it seems like alot of people are btiching, but i have a question.....

if it were to come out that HUD had direct impact and input on the tailgating situation because he felt it would improve the cajunwalk and get more people invloved with his team, do you still think the same people would be btiching, or would they be saying "man, what a great idea, this man is a genius"

its just a thought that popped in my head. by no means am i an apologist either.

I still don't think 3 years of success is enough leverage for the University to use in this situation. While I love this city, Lafayette can be flaky as ____ when it comes to what is considered an "in" thing to do. UL football is hot right now and everybody wants a piece of it, but they haven't been hot for long enough for UL to be using the "its ok if you leave, we have 10 more people waiting for your place" argument. If Hud were to leave after this season and we were to have a down year or two, support would be back to a little above what it was before Bustle left, in my opinion. That's just how this city is with its support.
