Maybe they could allow only trucks and el caminos.

Unnecessary after dark traffic is what needs to be avoided.

A handy vehicle that parents can tell small kids to go sit in while we pack up should be the goal.

Stationary holding tank vehicles are no danger to children after dark, but if kids are forced into the open with cars coming and going like crazy in the darkness ... watch out.

For those with rcaf passes it will not be a problem. Any tailgate that can't fit a car does it this way already. Which is a lot of tailgates.

For the record, I am not affected, I park by Blackham.

I expect more pushed over company though.

Hahahahahaha! Really?!?!?! Please tell me what law the university is breaking. The courts are going to waste their time because you have your panties in a wad because of a tailgating policy? If you don't like what is going on, go demand your money back and stay home on Saturdays. You are seriously over the top on all of this.

BTW, I don't have to worry about losing my seats because myself as well as my entire group are in attendance for every game. I may get priced out, but it is what it is. If someone wants to pay more than I am willing for my seats, have at it.

I know you are joking, I hope you are joking, but it does seem to be the official policy.

    1. This is not a parking thread. I have no problem parking in RCAF lot C.

    ....................................

I park in lot C which is not a far walk just for parking at all. I have fatherly duties that do not allow me to get to the field to set up before noon. It will be very difficult to haul 6ft folding tables, chairs, barbeque grills, burners and pots… from lot C to TG spot. There is no reason why you should not be able to get to your spot at least up to 3 hrs before the game.
    Am I missing something here....??

The Indy 500 will not be taking place in the parking lot after games.

And if it does turn out that way, I would guess the people who are PO'd about this change will be the ones hauling Azz in the parking lot bc apparently they need to be home ASAP after the games. Not saying anything is wrong with wanting to get home fast, but people who are open to this change have already suggested relaxing at your spot with a beverage while the crowd winds down.

I've been to several "BCS" conference away games and every one, I had to sit in line for an extended period of time just to leave the stadium area. You drive by hundreds of people sitting at their tailgating spots just waiting it out. That is part of big time football. Do we want to be big time and have a little inconvenience (at least in some eyes) or just stay small time so it's easy on everyone?
