Well last year my non-tailgating routine went something like this:

1. INTEND to study for a tax exam.
2. Sit on the couch with my textbook and turn the TV on one game and pull up a Belt game on ESPN3.
3. Watch the games and occasionally glance at the textbook sitting next to me on the couch (maybe even read half a sentence in a moment of intense focus).
4. Start being honest with myself and realize that this is absolutely pointless.
5. Say ____ it and leave for Cajun Field to go tailgate about 5 hours earlier than I originally intended.

Does that make you a tax dodger or a tail blazer?

What is your game day routine?

Myself , I take a morning bike ride around the Cajun field grounds.
Usually return 2 or 3 hours before game time on a bike or just dropped off. (have parking pass).
Hit the Alumni tent. Listen to the band. Mingle. Do the Cajun walk.
Go in early and grab a brew. Watch warm ups.
Easy Breezy.
Life is good.

Pretty sure all of that's available in Lafayette. Just a short ride down University from campus.

I guess we could check with LSU and get them to tell us how they manage 100,000 fans crossing Nicholson Drive and making some families walk up to a mile just to be able to cross the damn road! Time for Cajun fans to grow up and learn how to act "BIG TIME" as Hud would say!

This contradicts the rules, as currently published on their own website. This is beyond unprofessional. People have paid for these spots based upon the published rules.

I think it's a reasonable policy if communicated BEFORE payment is made.

This. The rules have been made and whether we like it or not, they arent going back. So everyone pretty much has 2 options:

1) Go to ticket office and demand money back being this is not what you signed up for; Or
2) Start planning on new game day routine. Plenty of time to come up with solution to problem

Our RV group doesn't have a spot this year and I'm on the waiting list for a grass spot so this is the plan.
1) Park in lot by student tailgating with my D-Lot pass if available or D-Lot if other lot full.
2) Open back of SUV.
3) Set up TV, put out chairs, and relax until game time!

Whether you agree or not, Ole Miss gets more pub for their tailgating than we do.

I wonder how in the world they have what's considered one of the top tailgates in the country having to carry all their schit by not being able to park in the Grove?

That's comparison or any other with stadium right in the middle of campus is not fair. It's just a different situation.
