I begged Matt to communicate this when I saw him this morning. He said he would pass it along. I asked him to think about how much of a mess it would be if people were entering the stadium area only to have to leave the stadium lots again to park who knows where.. Give him credit, he took it and ran with it.

If only the Athletic communications people would act vs. react, this would have been clarified long ago.. But hey, if people aren't happy with what it is now and want what it use to be, we could always start loosing 9 and 10 games year and presto, no problems with parking. PS: OR, we could always become a LaTech or ULM fan and not have any of these issues..

So the cost to tailgate at Blackham for all six games is $750 ($1050 for an RV).

It sounds like the further from CajunField, the more the RCAF charges for tailgating. It seems like if the tailgating around the stadium would charge the same rates as tailgating at Blackham, the "people using tailgating spots for parking" would take care of itself.

Growing pains folks. I look forward to a day where tailgating is so large it is down to Blackham year and out or across Congress. Want our program to be big time, think big time. This is peanuts.

It's up to RCAF to come up with a plan that does not hurt long time donors but at the same time welcomes the deep pocket new ones when it comes to not only tailgating but priority post season seating. Need to accommodate both to grow.

In the North Endzone it's $305 for all 6 games and a $250 RCAF donation. I think you also have to have 2 season tickets but for most that goes without saying.
