Ive been told a strong push back on new TG rules could gain traction. Here's a short, well stated letter from a very good friend. Feel free to cut and paste.
"Many fans of UL Football have been renting space to “Tailgate” in a PARKING LOT for many years. We have paid good money through the increases and the mandated RCAF membership. I can understand the concern for vehicle movement in a tailgating area especially as it gets closer to game time and the crowd increases. That’s why the entrances to the property have been closed the last few years at 1 PM. It seems we are making new rules to take care of a problem that the first rule would have taken care of if properly enforced. Also, the rules state that you can tailgate in “General Parking Areas” if you don’t interfere with the next person’s parking. What’s the difference between those tailgaters with vehicles and the PAID For tailgating spots with vehicles. Please reconsider your decision to ban parking in tailgating spots and consider what it might take to make the original plan work. Thanks."
