This is your first post on the subject. Your problem is with people who have extra spots just to park their cars. You lamented the fact that people on the waiting list are frustrated because they didn't get a spot. One way not to be frustrated...get on top of it and get in early. The people are on the waiting list because they were not around to get the spot when it came up or did not do what it took to get the spot they wanted. The people who had the spots were around and did something about it. It was completely allowed by the rules. My opinion is that your opinion is a really petty and immature way to look at things. That was me freely expressing my opinion also. Have a nice day.
And my opinion is that you're an arrogant douchebag that likes to stir the pot on internet forums. As i clearly explained, multiple times, this was not an attack. This was me saying that it is frustrating from the other side of things, and when people complain about having to walk a bit further, I don't sympathize with their plight. I am NOT criticizing them for following the rules. I am just telling them to suck it the ____ up now that the rules have changed. You of all people should know what it's like to have a contrarian opinion of things.

They were not complaining about walking...they were complaining about a previously allowed rule being retracted and modified with less than a month to go before the season started. You took the worst possible outcome of what people could complain about and ran with it...even though this was not the overwhelming sentiment of the people who the process actually affected. It's a bias opinion sheathed in contempt and labeled as "calling people out".

Let's say you own a car. You drive that car to work everyday. The next week the city you live in outlaws cars and forces everyone to go out and buy a bicycle to ride to work. You seek out information on this...and are told by a person who bikes to work everyday...suck it up. Who is the arrogant douche bag now?

You're actually sitting here telling me that I should suck it up because they were there and followed the rules, but now that the rules have changed, I'm arrogant for saying the same thing? This is really getting blown way out of context and perspective.

Look, I think that there must be a breakdown in the communication process, because you're reading something completely different from what I'm trying to say. I don't think that we're doing anyone here any favors by continuing to hash this out on this thread. I'm coming back to Lafayette in a little less than a week, so we can have a beer and discuss this in person if you want.

You guys are insane! I just donate a little money to a tailage spot and sponge off of them. My philosophy is, "Let the other guy shoulder the burden.". Oh, but I would like for all of you to consider something to make my very easy in and out strategy to work for future home games. I'd like for those of you that do have tailgate spots to wait and pack up well after I attempt to leave the stadium. It cuts down on traffic flow (even for you - albeit quite a bit later than me).

In fact, some of you other guys should consider staying and helping them pick up, pack up... and even further cut down on the traffic I endure, year after year, when I leave Cajun Field. I'm usually pretty hungry once the game's over, and I like to get to one of the restaurants before the Cajun Field crowd gets there. If you guys could hang back and allow me to leave first, unimpeded, I'd really really appreciate it.

That's in advance for your cooperation. Remember, you guys stay for at least one hour after the game. You don't have to pick up and go after that hour. Just don't try to get your vehicles and enter my "comfort time" of getting to my after-game destination.

You do make my game day experience superb. I really like your tailgates. And even if it does inconvenience some of you, I'm really fired up that UL is forcing you to park somewhere other than your tailgate spots. It allows for more tailgaters to get spots in those areas, and it makes the tailgates all the better for my sponging pleasure.

Thank You J1M for seeing things correctly, but I do object to one of your tongue-in-cheek statements.

They can force us to park elsewhere, but no one will give up any TG spots as a result.

Now, that may be the other shoe to drop for next season with the Admin. placing a max number of spots per account or jacking up the prices so high that people have to give some up, and that may be the end goal here. I can only assume there are several deep pocketed good ole boys who are currently locked out of TG spots and they want in.

I know this. They'll never get mine. I don't have a lot of money, but I do have several good friends who will never let our Tailgating end.

Are you planning to expand your tailgating spread to the 3 spots? Or are you just going to hold your spot hostage out of spite? I'm all for paying for and using your 3 spots, but if you are going to keep other fans from being able to tailgate just to prove a point, you are part of the problem.

The cost of beverages and food has also gone up for all spongers as well this season. Well, unless you can impress with a different thong this season. But Zee said you kind of let yourself go, so the cost for admission to the Eaux will be higher for you this season! LOL!!!!!
