This will increase post game tailgating.
Not necessarily a bad thing.

Thank the people that abuse the system.
And guns kill people....
No abuse. Just people following the rules.
Suppose you have 3 TG spots. Before insanity ensued, you could have had 2 parking passes per TG spot. That's 6 vehicles. What most people in this situation were doing were setting up their tents/BBQ rigs in the first 2 TG spots and parking the 6 vehicles in the 3rd spot.
That's not abuse. That's what this school is known for across the country-TAILGATING.
We would gladly pay any price for those parking passes. Money is not the issue.
6 cars in one spot......dang
After reading the threads on the tailgating policy changes and talking to a few people, its clear that its part of the reason this has taken place. A number of people avoided not paying the $250 RCAF Level to attain the parking pass and used the tailgating area to park. I don't think anyone can deny the large number of available parking spaces at games last season. Sadly those that donated at the $250 level or above and also pay for tailgate areas are getting punished for the actions of a few.
The second problem I see with this policy change is it will encourage those that have invested money into expensive tailgating trailers, equipment, generators and plasma screens not wanting to leave their property unattended during the games. I would think with this change in policy, that the number of people staying in the tailgate areas during the game will only increase. That is the unintended consequence of this policy change.
You are right, there are people who go through way more and walk way further with way more stuff than you ever will have to. I have had 2 options for years, get there early and unload my stuff or carry it from the lot. As well as everyone else in Lourdes park. It's not that big a deal. I can actually speak from experience that it's not that big a deal. Yet there are people on here that have never done it that way are telling me it's the end of the world, yet I can tell you from experience, it's not.
Sure is a lot of complaining going on....football season couldn't start soon enough
