I want to say that this rule was put in place in the past but they kind of became lax on it as the season went on and I'm hoping they do the same. This was also when parking in the tailgate spots was still allowed.
My wife and I have 2 parking passes. I go early and she comes later. When she arrives, she calls me and I go meet her, carry her ice chest and stuff. That might be a solution, just trying to help.

Before $250 got you a TG spot and 2 parking passes, meanwhile people who donated $250 received a gravel spot. What most likely caused this reaction were the people who bought spots and used it just to park. Solution, do away with parking all together because you can't tell one person they can bc they have a tent and tell the other they can't bc they don't have a tent. If you think people don't go back to their spot at night now, you are mistaken. Overall, moving forward this is the way to go. People will adjust or they won't but as long as they got people waiting to take your spot, I have a feeling people will adjust. You could give up your spot and go straight to the game and then go home, that way you don't have to worry about picking anything up.

I will note that its not an easy situation either way and there truly isn't a clear cut way to approach the situation. I think that the 6 hour window is too much but I've thought it was too much in the past and they kind of stopped enforcing it after a game or two. Outside of this, I have no real issues with price increases as this is an obvious funding opportunity for such an important program due to its relatively low cost and demand. I see the reasons it should be increased and for the most part, I don't have a problem with it.

Gameday logistics will without a doubt be tougher as more people are trying to park and tailgate than ever before. I wish there was a level of general parking there though as offsite parking is not very desirable but I guess it will be a necessity. Besides, I think much of this complaining will be lost to those who have to try to fight the mess that is the South endzone and surrounding areas....LOL. That place is a mess and I don't see how they are going to get it in decent shape in only a few weeks, especially with the amount of work still going on.

We do this. However, if your wife has seats, food, baby, stroller, drinks etc...It makes it a little tougher to accomplish this.

Like I said before, anyone arriving late can pull up to the gravel where they rope it off, unload everything from there which is a very short walk, then go park the car.

Then help her out and bring what you can early with you.

Right now people are bumper to bumper on the gravel cut across to leave stadium. Get in line and turn into the spots when you get there, that's the way everyone does it now.

Another question. In the past, our TG pas was essentially a parking pass and allowed us access to park in lot D. We also had parking passes issued based on our RCAF donation level which gave us 2 more so we essentially had 4 passes. Is it the same way this year? From what I've read, the TG pass is not going to give you any access to lot D or any other lot unless they simply don't check it. Is this how everyone understands it?

I think if all you have is TG pass, you park behind Holiday Inn.

TG pass gets you in the gate before the cutoff time. After that, you have to have a regular parking pass to get in. Who knows if they actually check the passes after you are already in.
