I think the Cajuns are between a rock and a hard place with the money games. I don't know what you do with that one.

I don't have any problem with USC, but the Big 10 is a different case. They need to get their football act together. _
Very good post (see I can be civil to a&m@br fans on the off ocassions that they make sense)... Rather than moan and groan about USC who does earn their stripes with their OOC schedule, the Big Ten is the real joke and yet year in year out they are in the BCS version of the NC game... Had Penn State not gotten beat by a last second FG the Big Ten would again have been represented in that one

Agreed! Tearing another school down does nothing for us. We simply have the wrong people in place starting with the AD down to expect anything good to happen.

It's not just the SEC how would you like to have Oklahoma/Texas/Texas Tech/Ok State/Missouri and Kansas on your schedule?

It's going to be a looooong spring for the LSU "haters" considering the Tigers are primed to make a serious run at an SEC Championship in both basketball and baseball. Regardless of how you try to spin it, any school in their right mind would cherish winning 2 BCS titles. No worries, just continue thumping your chest behind another scool such as USC, Alabama, etc. _
can you help me find the way to LALA(stay in your place) land? i' m afraid i've never heard of it.

My apologies, the land I was referring to was Lafayette, Louisiana. I guess you couldn't figure it out because you were too busy beating your chest about a school located 1,800 miles away.

LSU has agreed to a home and home series with West Virginia, starting in the 2010 season, LSU director of athletics Joe Alleva announced today.

The first of the two meetings will be on September 25, 2010 in Tiger Stadium. In 2011, The Tigers will travel to Morgantown for a September 24th game against the Mountaineers.

It will be the first time the two schools have met in football.

“This is a series that is very attractive to fans of both LSU and West Virginia and at the same time, it’s a game that will have a great deal of national attention,” Alleva said. “West Virginia is one of the top teams in the Big East Conference and we are excited about the opportunity to face a quality opponent from a BCS league.”

LSU has made efforts to strengthen their nonconference schedules of the future, and matching up with West Virginia is a good start.

may an early season win over wvu in '10 herald the same kind of final ranking that an early season win over va tech did in '07.

The cajuns control what they can control, so who cares who the tigers are playing in 2010 and 2011?

I'll take pulling for that school rather than the clowns down the road. I get tired of being told who I should pull for anyway by those same LSU people who take their precious time telling us lowely cajun fans how pathetic we are. LSU spend less time thanking their program for those championships than they do hating on USC because they feel they get too much national attention..

As an LSU alum, the last thing I'm worried about is a lack of national attention. Fresh off an SEC Championship in basketball and will soon be in the top 15. Baseball team is currently ranked #1 in the nation. Football is fresh off another top 3 recruiting class. I know things aren't so hot in Lafayette right now so I guess I can understand why you might rally behind another school. I really do hope the Cajun baseball team turns things around and I think they will.

Well that SEC title you cheer about, will only garner a 6 or 7 seed. POWERHOUSE!!! LSU basketball fresh off the weakest bball schedule in the NCAA, and major losses to better RPI conferences in Xavier and Utah, means this team is not worth the seed they get. Now for the baseball team, those guys have been on a tear since last year. They will continue unless it was all just a fluke. And your powerhouse, money in money out recruiting football team just finished a pitiful season coming off a faux title and have little to no chance of getting an SEC title anytime soon. So maybe not everything east is all rose colored, maybe just a bit brown if ya know what I mean.
