Officials to vote on repairs to Cajundome

  BATON ROUGE - State lawmakers will vote in a mail ballot later this month on whether the state should authorize payment for $1.23 million in repairs to preserve the Cajundome.

Structural deficiencies were first discovered in November, a report by the state planning and budget office says.

"An investigation conducted to determine the severity of the condition revealed the potential for a complete structural collapse of the Cajundome," it said.
