For the first 15 minutes of Monday's practice, players for the UL men's basketball team stretched and worked on their dribbling skills under the guidance of their assistant coaches.
The plan was for the Cajuns (8-15 overall, 5-7 Sun Belt) to be ready when head coach Robert Lee arrived at the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility to begin preparation for Thursday's game at ULM (8-15, 4-8).
But when Lee arrived, he stopped practice and called a closed-door team meeting that lasted nearly two hours.
"Everything was copasetic going into it (the meeting)," Lee said. "And everything is copasetic after it. As the head coach, I have the right to stop practice.
