Thread: Ragin' Cajuns practice stalled by meeting

  1. UL Basketball Ragin' Cajuns practice stalled by meeting

For the first 15 minutes of Monday's practice, players for the UL men's basketball team stretched and worked on their dribbling skills under the guidance of their assistant coaches.

The plan was for the Cajuns (8-15 overall, 5-7 Sun Belt) to be ready when head coach Robert Lee arrived at the Leon Moncla Indoor Practice Facility to begin preparation for Thursday's game at ULM (8-15, 4-8).

But when Lee arrived, he stopped practice and called a closed-door team meeting that lasted nearly two hours.

"Everything was copasetic going into it (the meeting)," Lee said. "And everything is copasetic after it. As the head coach, I have the right to stop practice.

This article confirms what most people on here already know:

Lee has tried everything to fix this situation, but nothing's working.
Cliff notes of article and Aymond/Parrot webcast: Roberson and Adeife didn't dress out and left practice after a 2 hour meeting (still on the team). And Gradnigo has some kind of virus and will likely miss some games. 2 games seperates 5th and 12th place. We need to go something like 3-3 so that we'll be at home for the play-in game.

    Geaux Cajuns!

What could he possibly have been talking about for 2 hours, that he neglected to mention in the long team meeting following the N.Texas game (you know, the one that made Lee miss another post-game interview?)
