This was SO awesome to look at this morning that I had to post it where one does NOT need to click! Believe me, I am fully aware as I know our Coaches and Players are also, Polls have NEVER won a game! This Poll though does show some Love and respect of the growth of Louisiana's Football Program in my humble opinion!

Copied and pasted from ESPN1420's webpage: Thanks J-Bird for all the hard work you and those at your station do Many of the Cajun Nation Appreciate!
If looking at the rankings of schools outside the top 25 with the most votes, the Cajuns would come in at #40, 15 slots outside of the top 25.

This is a great way to start the season, lot's of respect from 12 other coaches. It's means a tremendous amount to be thrown in with the other top programs in the country. Yet, it has no meaning once the season begins, because each week UL must prove it belongs by winning every game, one at a time. One slip up, and we are out, maybe for the rest of the season. I hope to see UL on this list for the entire season.

    Geaux UL!

I wonder how we got the 12 points. Was it 12 separate coaches saying we were 25th. Was it 6 coaches saying we were 24th? Hell, was it one coach who said we were 13th?? I'd like to see the break down of voting
