I'm assuming you are talking about their respective times in H.S.? Because in college, Gerhardt was 235 and coming out of H.S. he was listed at 225

That is for certain but he mentioned that this kid reminded him of Gerhart "but with size" as to assume that this kid is bigger than Gerhart at this stage in their career. Am I correct?

When he gets bigger the sky is the limit. Never used but.

I, for one, have seen too many kids who have had great recruiting tapes end up average or stuck far down on the depth chart. He excites me because we are now getting bigger backs in here to mix with the scat backs we have to give us a lot of versatility. I will just wait to see how good he truly can be once he hits campus and competes with the other backs on the roster. I also like the kid we just got from MS.

I like the young man's running style. He does remind me a little of ____erson. Shoulders squared and an upright stride. I see all of the solid attributes. He's got good size and speed, vision, instinct to step/slide toward open space but keep it north/south, drives his legs through traffic and gets low and square through impact. The name is excellent. Sounds like a Key and Peele East/West College Bowl name. I sported that same hair in high school going into UL. That's retro hair.

Looks like he had offers from Army, South Florida, FAU, UAB and interest from Georgia Tech and Minnesota. Hope he stays true to his commitment. Looks like he can be a great player and would be a fan favorite.
