Lady Owls win only their fifth game of the Season vs Cajun Women

  Boca Raton - The Lady Owls won for their fifth time in six games Saturday, beating Louisiana-Monroe 61-50 at FAU Arena.

FAU improved to 6-5 in the Sun Belt and 9-12 overall. It is the first time in FAU's three seasons in the Sun Belt that they have been above .500.

Guard Brittany Bowe led FAU with 18 points.

FAU had little trouble with the Ragin Cajun's (3-18, 0-10), who remain the only team in the Sun Belt without a conference win.
