What is the deal with Byron Blake? I thought he had committed to UL. Now it shows him as committing to FAU. Also I just noticed where the TE from Texas, Austin Fitzmorris, committed to FAU as well. I wasn't too surprised to see that since he had been hedging about earlier reports that he was going to commit to UL. Then he kept delaying and finally UL had to go elsewhere and landed a another TE commit. After that, I felt he'd probably go to FAU (his dad played for Schnelly at "the U"). But I am disappointed that Blake bailed on us.

Blake didn't bail on us, we pulled the offer. In this caes, it worked for the best.

Byron Blake had some off-the-field issues that would have concerned any coaching staff. The Cajuns decided it was better to part ways.

FYI, Fitzpatrick has not committed to FAU. Wrote about it in my blog on Saturday. I talked with him on Saturday. He was going to commit to New Mexico, then Miami called after one of its TE pledges decommitted. He is still weighing his options.

Longview (Texas) DE Chris Knighton switched from North Texas to Texas Tech and Shreveport Green Oaks WR L'Damian Washington switched from Louisiana Tech to Missouri.

It loks like more "fallbacks" are now occuring. I just hope we can hold onto our commits.

Thing I note there is that both guys switched to schools in BCS leagues. Just about anyone else would do the same.
