I have always said Lee is a nice guy, but I think he is realizing that he is in over his head.

I am glad that he said that the loss was on him.

That being said I feel bad when nice people fail at their job, but I think he will be good as an assistant somewhere.

I really don't see what we can salvage out of this season at this point.

I admire his honesty. I wouldn't be suprised to see him resign at the end of this season. He loves UL and I'm sorry to see this for him.

_ IMO Jay has entered into his "professionalism safe zone" where he can detach himself from the results and simply be a reporter.

It's actually pretty commendable. I wouldn't be able to contain my frustration! _

Before my rant let me say that I think Coach Lee is passionate and he means well.

Now...

I have lost total respect for "Jay Walker" (not that I ever really had any with the way he treats his callers)...about 2 weeks ago he stated that the fans that are crying for more motion in the offense, and less three point shots were ignorant and didn't know what they were talking about.

We have won on having more talent than the other team by bringing in some decent JC's...I like the movement to 4 year players, but to do that you need a coach that can teach. Period.

Why have we lost so many close games?

Why aren't our total attempted free throws any higher?... we should be making more attemps to get to the line...We actually shoot free throws better than previous years.

Why are we forced to shoot so many threes?

With the bench that we have why don't we have more total steals off a pressure defense?

The teams we play know we don't work to free up shooters or make a consistant effort to move the ball around...Why not tripple team our three point shooters, that might work. Jesus!

Lets hope he does. His resignation would be a huge help for the athletic dept. If he does not resign, I bet it is 50/50 he returns next year.

Not surprising... we had the worst field goal percentage in school history last year. We bring in a couple of "projects" at center and some kids that bounced around a few schools.... and we were supposed to improve. I'm glad I didn't buy the snake oil the General was peddlin'. Disappointed... yes. Surprised... no!
I like Lee....but he's out-punted his coverage.

Will be there Thursday though.
