I just talked with my little brother (6'2 190 from NHS) and he told me that UL,La Tex, and Grambling is starting to recurit him very hard.He also is working out with former Lafayette High & LSU star Trev Faulk to get bigger. He is consider one of the top 2 safety in Lafayette Parish. Others schools that is intrested is Marshall,McNesse,Hofstra,Georgia State

Best advice I could give him, which I learned from personal experience, is to attend as many camps this summer as possible. Take the ACT as many times as possible and get his grades in order. If he does those things he will play somewhere.

Hopefully here at UL, but in order for that to happen he must have his grades. Bustle generally will not take any prop who doesn't have the core GPA.

My brother GPA is not a problem he has a great gpa being his older brother and also played football I am very hard on him on school. He will attend alot of camps I live in Ga and he will be going to a few camps around there and Fla. I am trying to him to do his Act test asap. I will post more info

Sounds like you are being a great big brother! Keep him headed in the right direction. I hope he wants to play for the UL. If not, or if for some reason he is not offered by UL, I wish him nothing but the best in life!

Update on Ernest: He is working out really hard with Trev Faulk during this offseason he is up to 214lbs last year he was 190. He also runs a 4.5 40yrd dash. when he takes his act LSU will be knocking at his door I can do so much it is up to UL to offer him or we will lose him to LSU

Updated: Today Penn State is showing intrest in Ernest Andrus he receive a letter from them. He will also be attending a Nike Camp this April to rasie his stock. I am hopeing he will have more letters or an offer from more schools. I am very happy for my little brother I am working real hard to get him into a University. If you look on rivials.com or scout.com he is not listed and he has no stars but I do not think that matter as long as you can play the game you can have 0-5 stars and still get offer by a big University just like the safety from Eunice (1 star). He to me is consider a sleeper prospect no one really knows about him just in the Lafayette area. Right now I will be taking him to camps out in Georgia where I live and my other brother will be taking him to camps in Oklahoma where he lives. More updates to come
