Once Randell Daigle's 35-footer went in the basket to clinch UL's 67-65 win over South Alabama, the Cajundome erupted Saturday night in an explosion of sounds and emotions.

Players and coaches for the Cajuns (7-12 overall, 4-4 Sun Belt) rushed the floor after the buzzer-beating shot to take part in the celebration.

Yet in the post-game press conference, words from UL players went unspoken.

In fact, coach Robert Lee did not make his players available for comment. That followed an announcement made at halftime to media members by UL's sports information director Daryl Cetnar, who said Lee told him no players could talk after the game and that team practices would likely be closed to the media.
