  RONNIE ARROW'S profanity-laced tirade at the end of last Saturday's game in Lafayette, La., was an embarrassment to the University of South Alabama.

His frustration was understandable. Coach Arrow and the Jaguars suffered a tough and controversial last-second loss to the Ragin' Cajuns of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette. USA had gone ahead 65-64 on a 3-point shot from Dominic Tilford. With 2.4 seconds left, Louisiana-Lafayette came back with the game-winner from 35 feet as time ran out.

_ Ask him bout the Tennessee game 20 yrs or so ago when the LSU clock operator had a brain fart with 8 secs to go in the game and failed to start the clock for 2 to 3 secs on an in bounds play and we loss on a put back at the buzzer. lol

He wasn't the clock operator at LSU 20 years ago. Funny things happen however when humans are making the decisions. As for this Arrow episode... I could care less about what he was complaining about... I would have loved for his tirade to have occurred with about 7 minutes left in the game... and him behave the same way over some other call he didn't like. He had some large gonads when he didn't see an official anywhere in the area at the end of the game. I'm impressed that our security people just let him vent... but he came awefully close to getting body slammed.

We could have been watching this on "COPS"... bad boys, bad boys, what they gonna do...

As a programer of PLC's used in the oil and gas industries, I did a little test. I set up a timer using milli seconds. Watching a live action replay of the shot, 10 times in a row, the ball left his hand at 2.195 to 2.275 seconds. I had several other co workers also start and stop the clock all with the same results. The shot was off in time, no ifs ands or buts.

If a player on the team mouthed off against one of his coaches and word got back to the coach that you told an OPPOSING TEAM FAN THAT HE IS A CRY BABY you would be talking about being benched for the remainder of the year, and possibly being put off the team. I'll give this post credence when you post the name of the player so I can Email the coach and let him know that one of his players needs to be suspended for insubordination.

The South AL player was #25 Ronald Douglas, a JUCO transfer from Baton Rouge. He said he gets tired of watching his coach act like a kid when he doesn't get what he wants, we were talking by the cajuns bench right after the game was over. I said his coach acted like a baby the entire game and he agreed with me and said he gets tired of it.

Now if you are so "Tired of the BS", go ahead and email Ronnie Arrow and tell him that "the guy he looked directly in the eyes to at the scorers table when he asked to see a replay and I told him they showed one on the big screen and the shot was released before the clock expired", also talked to Ronald Douglas and he said he is tired of his behavior. Do you think that Coach Arrow listens to his players? I witnessed him not listening to others with authority. I would like for you to also email his assistant Chris Coker and commend him on acting like a real bad___ to a female UP and also for restraining Coach Arrow and not letting his embarass himself, his team, and his university.

I called the LSU business office today and asked if this is true? I was told that LSU and the State pay all coaches as teachers and the remainder of the money comes out of an athletic fund. Theoretically the coach is paid 100% of his salary by the state because money must be paid to the university and then paid to him via a source that can be verified.

I respect your research but in essence -as delivered- it was anonymous info as well.

Jay said this week on his show that he thought Arrow would probably get a letter from the conference.(I'll bet he's really shaking in his boots.) He said a suspension was unlikely, because the refs had left before Arrow had his melt-down. Had that happened between him and the refs it would have been a different situation.
