First press conference Scott referred to should occur towards the end of the month. Tomorrow will be similar to previous recruiting functions. Best part of this is just the opportunity to visit with other CAjun fans.

I think their logic is that tomorrow's sports news will be dominated by talk of signings and any other announcements would not get the kind of exposure that they would like. By waiting a week or so and announcing it on a day when no other real sports news should be breaking they hope to monopolize the sports broadcasts in town. I am as frustrated as everyone else with all the delays but when you think about it their logic does have some merit. But any delays longer than two weeks will be unacceptable.

That was a stupid idea. Did anyone take part in this. She was so proud of this idea it was funny. We UL was going to be the first school in the nation to trademark tailgating. I remember hearing this and looking at my wife and at the same time we both said stupid idea it won't work.

All i ask for is the same pep talk given to potential recruits as to why coming to UL will be something special. Then i'll be pumped. My guess is that no vision statement is forthcoming.
