  Any way you spin it, it’s been a difficult year for the Culpeper girls basketball team.

Frustration from the Devilettes’ 2-15 season spilled onto the court after Friday’s 108-22 loss to Stonewall Jackson, and it was ugly.

Culpeper’s first-year coach Katie Shaw refused to shake the Raiders coaches’ hands after the game and, on top of that, two fans came out of the stands to get into a screaming match with the visiting coaches.

In her post-game interview, Shaw had little to say. But Stonewall coach Nsonji White spoke at length.
