So if he is going to be used like Cherry I guess we are going to use the Wildcat formation again? If we do I have just one request.....can we not call it the "Cajuns Gone Wild" formation? That's the worst name ever!
Just a pointless request......

Cajuns Gone Wild.....sounds like something that happens at Mardi Gras.
He may in fact be a little slower than Chery, but he looks pretty dang elusive on YouTube! I'm a fan and think he'll do great in our backfields to come....He will have an immediate impact in our program, no doubt about it.....

No "Cajuns Gone Wild" isn't bad... something like "Two Step Mamou" would be bad. That might imply we don't get many yards out of it.
Walker isn't like Chery except that I can see him as a return specialist. I think his quick burst, cutting ability from either side, will put him as a dangerous RB and return man. An RB that can cut and burst is more valuable IMO than one with pure 40 speed that has no moves. I liked Steve Mocek from years ago... he was one powerful and fast runner... but he had no cutting ability at all. I like the Barry Sanders, Kevin Faulk, stop on a dime and accelerate toward the hole. I think that is what we get in Walker.
Also, you cannot look at height and weight and not also look at the player's style. Warrick Dunn isn't a monster and he has survived quite well in the NFL. He knows how to stay out of the path of a direct hit, move to the open space and go down in the seam for an extra yard.
Oh well... I just can't wait to see what next year brings... whether Rob Walker plays next year or not... we have some fine RBs in the stable IMO.
