Can't get too much out of CajunT---anybody got any updates---we lost one to Ark St. and UNT!!!! Is the Texas TE comimg to visit?????

From this week:
TE Austin Fitzpatrick told me he's set to visit UL next weekend. He said FAU, New Mexico, UL and Louisiana Tech in the mix.

The Cajuns got a commitment from TE/WR Ian Thompson out of North Carolina over the weekend, a guy with a similar skill set as Fitzpatrick. UL is looking to add a pass-blocking TE. Darius Dunaway out of Carroll High in Monroe would fit that need.

Other commitments
DE Caesar Rodriguez out of Miami to Central Michigan.
CB Trey Wilson from Evangel Christian Academ - Vanderbilt.
RB Marcus Wiltz of Cecilia - McNeese State.
CB Quinn Giles from Evangel Christian Academy - Louisiana Tech.
DL Kyle White out of McDonogh 35 - North Texas.
DB Torell Miller from O.P. Walker - Kansas State.

The good news for Cajuns fans: Not all of those guys were at the top of the team's recruiting list. Some didn't even have offers.

what about weber??? Hopefully we will blow the TE's mother's mind away on the academic side if she comes---I know this was a concern--Heard Dr Z zapped a recruit with some Engineering lingo!!!!

Boomer, if there is nothing to update then things haven't changed. Perhaps if you read the premium folder,you would have gotten some answers.

Boomer, If you are speaking about Fitzpatrick then this is news to me. I haven't seen anything on him visiting Tech. Now they may still be calling him to take an offical visit. But he has stated to me, he has no interest in playing at Tech. Things can change quickly, but were did you get this information from? I spoke to him this past weekend.

T, I spoke with Austin on Tuesday and he included Louisiana Tech in his short list of schools that have offered him. That also included UL, FAU and New Mexico.
