Yes, it will be a home game. Supposedly, its pretty much done but there has been no announcement as to who the opponent is and I'm not sure what the timetable is.

And you are grossly underestimating what they will bring, too. Southern fans travel better than McNeese fans. If the Cajun fans show up, too, it will be a sellout.

They normally aren't as good as McNeese, so it should be a win.

And i know your prolly thinking, "well we didn't get a shot," but im willing to bet that you thought we got screwed AGAIN just like every other cajun fan.
Before the realization that we were not going bowling was dumped upon us, everyone was all pepped up and ready to accept Bustle, with little reservations. Now it is doom and gloom....the administration did nothing to assure that we went bowling, answers are wanted on what we did politically to assure that we got a bowl berth, we stink, nothing will ever change, get rid of the administration, etc.,etc., etc..

I am certainly disappointed that we are not going to a bowl game. No, I am not interested in reading/hearing an explanation from bowl authorities, or our administration as to why we were not offered a bowl slot. Most of the explanation from the bowl authorities will be some sort of gilded BS. And what will our administration offer, but the gilded BS offered to them by Texas and Independent Bowls.

I am anxiously awaiting tomorrow's expected sunrise. Should I make a post on this forum, if the the expected sunrise will not occur?

The game would be played in the Dome and Tulane would pay us over $300,000 if both programs agree to the contract. They are not coming to Lafayette.

    Doc _
Southern will bring anywhere between 10K and 15K if the weather is decent.

This will definitely be one of the top 5 attended games in UL history - hopefully their band makes the trip too!!!
