_ Gotta get that national recognition as "Louisiana"

Not sure what's up with the point system but we have more points than aTm and they are ranked ahead of us _

This is how we are referred to under the Top 25 as stated in the Ultimate College Softball forum. It was great to see us referred to as Louisiana. Let's hope that continues this year and expands to other sports. Although, I noticed on the link given on this forum, they referred to us as Louisiana-Lafayette. We'll see.

We are referred to as "Louisiana" because we are good in this sport! All other sports are bottom dwelling right now.....we are recognized as Louisiana-Lafayette, Lafayette, ULL, etc. in all other sports because we are terrible. Our softball program has made a name for itself on the National level and year in and year out they carry out that tradition......Congrats for being the "only" Louisiana recognized sporting event!

I'd guess its like that because it was asked to be done that way when the person who set up the Louisiana site put it together. Maybe Scout did what that person requested.

According to http://areyouwatchingthis.com/tv/1232672400000? Cox in New Orleans doesn't have the game/doesn't have Fox College Sports Atlantic.

Go to http://areyouwatchingthis.com/tv/ and on the top right, click "Customize". Put in your zip code and your provider (Cox, satellite, whatever) and you can find out what games are on in your area.

Keep in mind that Fox Sports is notorious for providing cable and satellite companies with the wrong guide data as well...something to keep in mind. But most Hilltopper games are on FCSA so I'm sure this one is too.

Glad to see Scout calling us Louisiana. All media will call us what we ask them to call us. That is simply our problem - too many mixed messages on what to call us.
