I pray that Walker and Farmer make some changes soon. Obviously Lee and Rogers are not the right leaders of their teams. I can't wait to hear people's opinions of tonight's performance on Jay's show tomorrow.

WHAT THE HELL?
WE ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! I CAN'T STAND TO WATCH OR LISTEN TO THESE CLOWNS ANYMORE. I HAVEN'T SEEN BASKETBALL THIS BAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!
I'M DONE WITH COACH LEE AND HIS NON COACHING AZZ...
ANYONE WANNA TALK BASEBALL??
From the way things sounded on the radio, people were getting the open shots early in the game and just weren't hitting anything. Jay Walker said it right in his call about mid-way in the first half: "Bureau in street clothes, your leading scorers not hitting a thing, and you're playing a team that's both faster and more physical then you are."
What I don't understand is why can't these kids put down those shots? We've seen them shoot the lights out of the basket in the past. So, we know they're capable of hitting those 12 to 18 ft. jump shots. Yet, Daigle was consistently shooting airballs for many of his shots last night. It's perplexing because they are getting open looks at the basket given what I've seen in the home games.
I just hope they don't implode given the way things are going right now. I'd hate for a bad season this year to ruin these kids for the next two or three years they're going to be in the program.
We're seeing what happens when the "bad chemistry" bug bites. This coupled with a bad record and losing alot at home is probably really wearing on these guys. How many times can we realistically expect Daigle to carry the team? I bet he's infinitely frustrated at the teams' inability to make any shot, from layups to tre's.
The "implosion" may be happening as we speak... Can we honestly expect to win any of our next 3-4 games? I would wager that we'll be double-digit underdogs in all of them.
I posted several different times here that Lee is nothing more than another Baldwin, a losing program with dwindling attendance. We must stop the bleeding now. Appoint an assistant as an interim coach and open this up to a national search for a replacement. We can't wait until the summer to discuss finding a replacment. Total apathy is about to set in by the players and fans. This is not about Robert Lee as a person, nor is it questioning his desire to win or loyalty to UL. It just isn't working and needs to be fixed now.
well it just seems that these 2 coaches (mens and womens bball) cannot do the job!!! I see a problem that both are black--this would mean that the last 3 coaches fired were black if Lee and Rogers are let go!!!! Obviously this is not a racial deal in our way of thinking but after the law suit --who knows??? How do we get into these jams and what is our way out???? btw ---was the track coach fired???-think he just left!!!
YES!!!! I've been dyin to get down to baseball season. What does our middle infield look like, we had some problems fielding there last year. I would assume Catching is gonna be primarily thad griffen, the corners would be Hicks and Harst, and the outfield would be Goulas, hatfield and an open spot. That would leave us filling an outfield, a shortstop and a 2nd baseman spot on the team. Who would we get to fill those spots? I know that Will Long is serviceable defensively, but bad with the stick, with Pourrier and Fontenot being servicable with the stick and bad with the glove. Any possible newcomers stepping up quickly?
UL has probably hired as many, if not more, black head coaches than any college in the country and none have worked out. This is a touchy subject, because the race card always enters these discussions and in the case of Baldwin, turned into a lawsuit. I'm afraid, however, the writing is on the wall for Lee and Rogers, expecially Lee who has had ample time to build this more high profile program and instead has flushed it down the toilet. At this point, IMO, it is not a question of should we replace them, but how quickly should we do it. We can't afford to let UL basketball drop any lower. After this road trip, watch what our next home game attendance is. We are losing money at the gate and apathy is setting in among us fans. This is Baldwin revisited. Have we finally learned our mistakes in selecting head coaches? It is not the color I am referring to, but understanding what kind of system a coach runs, how he recruits, how he handles PR, how he represents the university. The images of Baldwin and Lee as head coaches in those areas are not what I want representing my university.
