I am not upset by any means...I am just stating that we all care and want the same thing. There is definitive answer on how it is going to get done, but it needs to be figured out. The only thing I am upset about is the fact that I currently can't hold my head high as a Ragin Cajun, point blank period. _
Reggie you can always hold your head up high... It's our current staff and players that need to look in the mirror!

Regarding the Tennessee game in 2000. We all remember the foul called on Brett Smith when it appeared he made a clean steal. Was that a bad call as we all believe. I had forgotten the tech you got. I don't recall what it was for but I respect you for taking responsibility for it now.

I got a tech for telling Ron Slay to get that (expletive) out of here after Lonnie swatted his shot into the stands. We had already been warned to tone it down, but I was still amped up. Dumb move that cost us and killed the momentum.

Man, you guys are getting me all nostalgic. I forgot what a beast Lonnie Thomas was. Great teams back then.

Yea like when yall barely beat, STM... In the P MAC... I loved how you use to shoot free throws... LOL...

Hey Hey..........A win is a win...whether its by 2 or 20....lol....That was a good game though. I still dont remember where I got my free throw shooting routine from. Might have saw someone do it on tv. Didnt real help much. Still was a career 60% free throw shooter.

We miss 3 ft. shots, layups, can't hit free throws and don't seem to have simple inbounds plays. When we do have a lead, we slow it down, run the same pattern, miss shots, don't get rebounds, and leads evaporate and turn into losses - AT HOME. We lose by 30 to Utah Freaking Valley State, by 35 to UAB, coach doesn't do interviews anymore, moral is down and general apathy is starting to set it. We have dwindling attendance and resultant revenue. UL always says it has great athletes, but loses to teams with good basketball players. Our guys don't seem to have a basketball IQ, all they know is 3 point shots and dunking, and that appears to be what Coach Lee lets them do. Watching UL basketball is just a horrible experience these days. I'll turn on a webcast game and after about 5 minutes, I just can't stand to watch the crap that is on the court. No skills, no coaching, poor execution of whatever it is they do run, bad attitudes, undisciplined players, and a losing program. I have been following UL basketball since the Marvin Winkler days. As a UL alum, this is just not acceptable. If total apathy sets in within the Lafayette community, we may never recover. UL basketball must be restored.

I respect and understand your frustration and I have read all of this in previous post. I don't know what the answer is. I started posting because someone questioned how and if any other former players feel about the current state of the program. I will not allow myself to speak on Coach Lee, because I don't know the entire situation and I have respect for him as a man and a coach. There once was a time that he and I didnt get along or see eye to eye, but those problems were resolved and I hope he resolves the problems that his team currently faces. Obviously he needs to do so very quickly, because the window is closing. I am frustrated like everyone, probably more, because I want to be proud to wear my ring and tell people where I played ball at and not get laughed at, like we used to my first year there. _

Reggie, its good to see you here on this board and I hope you stick around and give your input on whatever topics you choose to, not just this one. I want to ask, in your opinion, do the Cajuns look completely inadequate in their offensive sets or is it just something that we see as fans? I played ball but not on the collegiate level and it just looks to me that there is no type of offensive plan that gets shooters open and creates easy shots unless McCoy penetrates and creates a shot for someone. Kind of curious to get a past player opinion. I know Brad seems to agree but more input is always appreciated.

I enjoy coming to this site and reading your comments from a fan's perspective. I usually never post on sites like this but I had to because this topic is somewhat personal. I have not been to a game yet, only practice, so I have no idea what the cajuns look like outside of playing against each other. Haven't seen the offensive gameplan and dont know what they are really trying to do. I can say this however, I saw them run a play in practice and I liked it so much that my high school team is now currently running it. That being said, I know they do have some sets that work.
