Jay has more knowledge in the post game interview than Lee. Lee has no answer. Just listen to him. That is enough to get him fired.

it was painful to listen to.
yea well maybe they would recognize those screens if they had BETTER COACHING!!! It's all about practice!!! Lee is garbage.
look I agree players have to make shots and this team seems to have death Valley style droughts but that is when the coach steps in and makes adjustments. You aren't supposed to come out of time outs with a worse plan than when you went in. We have huge talent and potential, they just have no one to show them the way. Lee's a great guy but he's not cutting it.
So Jay asks Lee if he thought the problem was that everyone was standing around instead of moving without the ball. No Jay. That's not it (Really?). Our problem, continues Lee, is that we're running the same plays but getting different results (seems like one coach tonight figured out that his job was to make adjustments during the game). Then he said they were running the same plays "early in the shot clock". Apparently, once there are 15 seconds left on the shot clock, it's too late and hopeless. At first i thought this was a parody of a lee post-game show, or a misguided post from an overreacting ragin pager. Nope. It was a real life post-game show, and lee sounded defeated, as if he's given up. That probably isn't the case, but if it sounded that way to me surely the players feel the same way. Don't expect much from this the rest of the way. I hope you're laughing at me come march, but i wouldn't bet the rent money on it.

I'm not sure why everyone is so upset. We have lost a half dozen games the exact same way. The Cajuns are like Bill Murrary in Groundhog Day. Just relax. Save getting upset when we get blown out by 30 (I think we have a couple more of those left in us).
How in the world did anyone, ANYONE believe that Robert Lee was qualified to be the head coach of a NCAA basketball team? What on his resume' sold the deal for you? This towns low expectations are amazing and it's astonishing what crap can be sold to the public here.
His qualifications are the basketball equivalent of Jerry Baldwin's football qualifications.
Danny Broussard could coach circles around Lee while he's sleeping. He dropped more basketball knowledge in his commode this morning. We should hire him but he would have to take a pay cut with his salary and all the cash he makes teaching drivers ed.
Lee has virtually no contacts with Louisiana high school coaches and he makes us the laughing stock of the state.
Butch Pierre should have been hired the last three times the job came open but that now retired moron Authement wouldnt allow that because of a personal grudge (Pierre leaving for UNCC with some cajun players).
Listening to Jay Walker's voice at the end of the game I could tell he has about had enough of this. I know he probably won't come out and say it, but this is not how the game is supposed to be played/coached. I respect him for not talking bad on coaches, but I could just hear it in his voice.
I noticed that too. When he came out of the commercial for the coaches show, he didn't really even acknowledge that RL was there, and when he went to commercial before, he said "if we have a coaches show...". He started by just giving tons of criticisms, and basically told RL that nothing went right, and that it was hard to defend any part of the performance. RL was speechless. He started to say something, and Jay went off a second time. RL came back and started rambling about not making enough plays or whatever. He even said something about McCoy potentially making the first FT at the end of the game, which would have put the Cajuns up 1 with 3 seconds left. But, Jay didn't even let that slide.
I've never heard Jay go that hard on a coach on a post-game interview. And, I've never heard RL that silent and speechless. Lee is usually pretty candid and knows where to lay blame. but it seemed like last night, he knew that the same old cliches weren't going to fly any more (and if they're not flying with Jay, there not flying with anyone) because he can't keep saying that the problem is this or that after every single game, when this or that never gets improved.
