Obsessing over in state schools

Well we finish 10th---average right at 3800 (4k in HUD talk)----SEC had 6 in the top 10 and there was Texas, Fla St, Clemson, and the Cajuns!!! ----Does everybody appreciate what a deal this is? I really don't know what to expect in football but we need and can pick it up in basketball!!! The SECs and the Texas Big 12s are what they are---but after that we become very very attractive for recruits----I will be very interested in enrollment after this year's successes in athletics, but don't know if they have been that way long enough to really make an impact!!!

So Tulane, La Tech, USM, Houston, McNeese, etc, etc, etc were not ahead of us in attendance. I don't believe it......

But that is the point--we are getting more that they use to get---with McN, and Monroe more so than Houston, Rice, ,Ltur, Miss S, Tulane, and Memphis----I hate the separation thing but I think a just evaluation will show us beating all but Houston and maybe Rice and Tulane (but not according to them)!!!

I just wish you could quit comparing us to La Tech, Tulane and anyone. We are who we are and making all of those comparisons makes us look small time. We win in recruiting and we lose in recruiting, but we are trying to get the best players available and that have interest in us. We can not dwell on who LT and Tulane and USM and others get, we need to worry about us, and not them.

I dont have an issue with knowing where we stand vs the primary competition. I find it logical to want to know these facts too.

Boom Boom, it is good to know what your competition is doing but your postings sometimes (well, a lot of the times) leads a lot of us to believe you are somewhat paranoid about the competition.

You keep this up and you still could be implicated in the Watergate scandal, I know they are watching you.

Oh, and make sure your emails don't start disappearing like your friends in the IRS ... the eye in the sky is on ... and watching.

Knowing where we are with recruiting is important, but more importantly is knowing where were are on the field. We ended the season with the best record in college baseball. I think that should speak more than enough for the fact that Robe and the rest of his staff know what the heck they're doing.
