DK didn't need stars. All you had to know was that he went to The High, and you knew what he brought to the table.

Here we go again. Wasn't Keyes a prop? Also wasn't he undersized for the safety position? I think that explains his rating. I will give you there is no difference between a 1 and 2 star athlete, but when you get to 3 stars and above you are getting into some good players with the right size for the position. If Johns was 2 inches shorter, he would be a 2 star recruit. If our guy Anderson was 20lbs bigger, he would be a 3 star. You may think this is not important but it is. If Johns commits to us he will be the biggest, fastest safety we have.
I know you like to make fun of the system, but I am positive if we had more 3 star players we would rule the Belt.

Technically he is a verbal. From the sounds of it, he will still take his official visit here and will take one at LSU.

I posted something similar on scout, but I'm sure this was his dream since he was a kid in BR, so I cant blame him from taking an offer, regardless of playing time.
