I don't know how to make it any more clear. If admissions told the staff his transcipt would not be accepted, then why re-offer? The Clearing House hasn't ruled on his status as of yet either. Sometimes people make simple decisions more complicated then necessary. I can only tell you what has transpired, all other questions should be directed to Coach Bustle. He makes the final decision on all scholarship offers.

I was under the impression that the Clearing House ruled favorably on his status when UNT offered him, so I was wondering why we didn't know that and reoffer if we still wanted him. Apparently, he still has not cleared and UNT is just taking a chance that he will.

Oh, we've heard of him or at least I have. I've been pining for him to come here and I sure hope he does. If you watch his highlight reel, I'm confident you'd feel the same too....

Then you would be mistaken. North Texas has no problem taking prop athletes, as they have in the past. Some schools will take more then a few and hope they can become eligible. Bustle has had a history of only taken a chance on such athletes every once in a while. Last year, it was Clark and Melvin White. But he has never taken a chance on more then a few in any year.

I will try to help CajunT clarify. The clearinghouse has not given the OK to White as of yet. Therefore his commitment to UNT may be meaningless.

Re: Kyle White - I guess we will all know for certain on Feb 4th. Two weeks from today, right?

Clearing House may not render a decision by then. In fact, they have been slow to respond in the past.
