Thread: Late Game Slump bites Ragin' Cajuns Again

  1. UL Basketball Late Game Slump bites Ragin' Cajuns Again

NEW ORLEANS - UL's extended road trip got off to a bad start Thursday night against New Orleans.

After leading by eight points with six minutes left, the Cajuns stumbled down the stretch in a 61-58 loss at Lakefront Arena.

UL led 51-43 on Randell Daigle's jumper with 6:35 to go but saw UNO score 18 of the game's final 25 points in a furious rally. After Daigle's basket, Kyndall Dykes poured in nine of his game-high 20 points to cap the comeback for the Privateers.

The officiating was truly terrible, I'll say that for sure.

Basically it was a bad game all around. No more than 300 people (very depressing) and two really bad teams trying to lose.

I repeat, You MUST shoot good percentage shots in the last 5 min. when the game is close. Trying off balance 3's is throwing the game away.
Another Ho-Hum season of street ball, very disappointing.

It's not a ref's job to ask the scorekeeper if the FT's are even and if they aren't, to even them out throughout the game.
