Default UL football: Two more commitments

    http://www.theadvertiser.com/apps/pb...advertiser.com

I put this blog post up this morning.

Burnette committed last month but decommitted because his parents wanted to meet at home with the coaches before making it official. Last night's visit with Bustle went well, and he's now a Cajun commit again.

Thanks for the updates Parrott and your coverage of UL Sports.

    Geaux UL!

Nice, Anderson sounds like a real good pickup. Foley is usually a very good program in AL and he had offers from NIU, UAB, ArkSt, South Al, and UL. Sounds like a sack machine on the end from articles. Unless we use him at LB, which is a possibility.

Anderson has been told he'll be used at DE and LB, depending on the defensive calls.

FYI: On espn his grade is a 76 and is the 5th best OLB coming out of the state of Alabama, as a comparison Grant Fleming was a 72. Won't know until he suites up but I give credit to the staff for bringing in what looks to be some good talent.

Anderson got some good looks and appears to be a nice talent. Arkansas State, UAB, Northern Illinois and South Alabama also offered. LSU, Auburn and Alabama showed some interest.

As a junior, he had 16 sacks as a defensive end and was a prep teammate of current University of Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones. He'll get a chance to play DE and LB for the Cajuns.

For the second time in the past month, Winston Burnette has committed to sign with UL's football team. This time, the Woodlawn High defensive back will stick with his decision for good.

Burnette and Foley (Ala.) High defensive end Justin Anderson both verbally committed late Tuesday night to sign with the Cajuns on National Signing Day, which is Feb. 4. The news was first reported Wednesday morning at theadvertiser.com.
