Google has tweaked its Google Maps app for iOS with a few new updates today which are primarily designed to make it easier to navigate search results and discover places around you. The updated app now shows search results with descriptions directly on the map and offers the option of switching between grid and map view in a bid to help you find the place you’re looking for more quickly.
