You are correct but I still refer to him as the "spin doctor"

No offense CC, but I dont want to talk about the coaching situation. We all know what needs to happen and we are just waiting to see if the administration gives a crap. Just trying to have some fun, but Knight is seriously good on the radio. He is extremely honest, and does more than just say what happens. He does a great job of explaining every aspect of the game in english and not coach speak.

No idea what kind of coach the General is; not too good as a recruiter, obviiously. At this point, one cannot teach shooting. Practive may make it better. Either kids can shoot or they can't. And ours can't. _
I couldn't disagree with you more.

First of if UNO is a really poor team to win by three how poor of a team are we to lose by three to them? Officiating was not the only problem here. We just aren't playing good.

We have no PG? I think we have a few pretty good PGs. They just can't win a game by themselves.

I think Lee is actually a good recruiter. He's brought in some pretty good players he just doesn't know how to coach them. The main point of his job (coaching) is the thing he's not too good at.

And I don't think we are that bad at shooting. It's just when we do miss we don't have the inside game to get rebounds and give us second chances. So when we shoot and miss it's pretty much going to the other team.

Either way we do agree that the team does suck and coaching is a problem.

Oh....and don't give up on the Cajuns!

Or if the Cajuns wouldn't have fouled so much sending UNO to free throw line 37 times, we probably would have had a better chance of winning.....

And you're also assuming that if we got 20 free throws, we would have made 4 for the win

I will agree with you on that. I actually like Jay's show a lot but he does seem to have a hard time ever saying ANYTHING negative about our current coaches. I have never heard him say that a certain coach needs to be replaced. I was listening today when Stevie P was on and someone called in to talk about coaching and even Stevie P defended Lee. I couldn't believe it. Can't they see that he is not a good leader and that he puts together a pretty damn poor gameplan?

I do think the administration cares....we just don't have the financial perks to make changes when needed. I'm mainly talking about Bustle but I'm sure we will have a hard time coming up with the payoff for Coach Lee's temination.

Ask Don Allen about being critical about UL.

Jay and Starks touched on the crux of the problem in the post game interview. Jay said that he saw the cajuns doing something new on the court and Starks agreed and said that they had been trying something new...doesn't that kind of seem like what we are always doing. We're continuously game planning for the other team, never worrying about what WE do, and what style of team WE are. We seem like we try to play a different style every game. We play run and gun one game and the next game we are a half court team and that depends on the opponent. We're trying to stop the other team instead of deciding what we do and making the other team game plan for us. Because we don't know what style of team we are, players don't know roles and this leads to inconsistency. This falls squarely on the coach, either he gives us a set style or he'll be at home watching greys anatomy and eating bon bons this time next season.

We have a load of talent on this team, if someone says there not that talented. Then who recruited them. I was actually happy when coach lee was hired. I can sit here and say I was wrong. Think it was Miami Cajun who really was against it and said, the program was going down. At this moment we suck.

So Lee skips another post game interview to chew out his
"team" - lovely !!! THis is the 4th or 5th time he has pulled this stunt.
I find this to be a slap in the face to us, the fans - at least have the balls to come out and say that your team sucks and you have no idea how to coach a recognizable offense besides the Hi/Lo - high turnovers & low points and the I/U - I shoot U watch !!!

    I'm Out!!!
