Great year indeed.
Thanks Josh
Wow. What an amazing year and great recognition. Now let's do this year in and year out!
For perspective, LSU was 8th and the next closest SBC team was 75th (WKU) using their formula. Interesting..
Not to sound like a bigot, but does women's basketball really fit in with the other mandatory sports?
It's based on spectatorship.. So apparently it does
We need to tout this accomplishment to as many media athletes as we can. As I surmised, we are the top mid major listed and that is a significant accomplishment considering our resources. In some ways, the public may be more receptive to the results than the pentathlem as it puts more weight on the main two sports. This has to help us with conference realignment opportunities which may come up.
Nationally women's bball is the 3rd biggest sport.
I like it. The wildcard makes a lot of sense, and the overall approach is focused on national accomplishments and doesn't get into any conference level stuff. Additional points should be awarded for winning the bowl game.
Does CUSA know about this? Can somebody email them?

Wow, a Boomer/Snote impersonation in one.
More importantly, send it to Boomer.
34 Louisiana
50 Houston
72 Tulane
74 Rice
92 South Alabama
111 ULM
111 USM
121 La Tech
ULM=USM? WOW.
Glad Tech's getting that separation.
I think we ought to have a video done with highlights from the Supers(baseball and softball), the Big Dance, NBA draft, New Orlean's bowl, Master plan videos....and so on.
Play that mofo non-stop on the new video board for the Tech game.
