Sucky Black Uniforms

Black uniforms = fine

Seriously, they looked good. Throw out the "it's not our color" argument for a second and take another look. They looked good right?

A nice combo of black, white, and red looks much stronger and more vivid than just red and white. That doesn't mean our school colors expand. It just means that black enters the picture as a accent color. It's better than yellow, right?

The fad among uniforms has been to take an accent color and make a rare alternate uni based around this color. I'll take black in this format any day of the week. _

Sorry Babbs, but BLACK is a accent color, PERIOD. I don't want the CAJUNS to look like Cincinnati, Duke, and (GAG!) Southern Miss, among others. BOTTOM LINE: BLACK IS NOT ONE OF THE CAJUNS' PRIMARY COLORS!!!

The ONLY good thing about the black uniforms is that it said LOUISIANA (what's with the black socks?). Both the red and white uniforms say LOUISIANA Lafayette. But, the Press Releases say LOUISIANA and ask to be called LOUISIANA.

The only question I've asked today CajunProud, is if they address those questions with a long term commitment plan, are people ready to commit some money?

If Dave and Scott put a viable out there for us, we'll ALL BE THERE to support it in EVERY way.

I agree. The problem is that not every Cajun fan visits or even knows about this board. That is why it is so disappointing to see the failures of our marketing personnel.

We're not wearing black every day. We're apparently wearing black on very rare occasions. Fine by me. And it looks good. Done.

And whether anyone likes it or not, wearing something that looks good is actually good marketing. We're not shying away from that, are we?

I liked the black uni's a lot and wish we'd do it more often. Its not like its going to make us play any better but I thought they looked sharp
