If the UL men's basketball team wants to get back on a winning track sometime in the next week, the Cajuns will have to do so on the road against two of the top teams in the Southeastern Conference.
Riding a two-game losing streak, UL (4-6) faces its biggest test so far this season at 6:30 tonight on the road against nationally ranked Tennessee (8-2). The Vols, ranked 16th in last week's Associated Press rankings and 21st by ESPN/USA Today, were picked in the preseason by media members to repeat as SEC champions.
Tennessee returns six letter-winners and two starters from last season's team that advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament and posted a school-record 31 wins.
