After appearing to finally turn its season around with a hot streak, the UL men's basketball team now must find a way to end a mini-slump going into the Christmas break.
Injuries and inconsistencies on both ends of the floor have loomed large in back-to-back losses for the Cajuns. UL (4-6 overall, 1-1 Sun Belt) had won four of its previous five games before losing to North Texas, 78-64, on Thursday and Sam Houston State, 56-54, on Sunday.
"Obviously, (on Sunday) we had trouble scoring the basketball," UL coach Robert Lee said. "If you can't score it, you're going to have a difficult time winning.
