Evidently, we let him out of his NLI. Which could mean that Coach Robe and the young man had an honest, heart to heart talk about what his life might be like as a Ragin' Cajun.

Not everybody is Greg Davis... studly enough to start for almost everybody, but spending a lot of time on the bench... but working just as hard as if he was starting to be ready for his time.

I have no first hand knowledge. That's only an uneducated guess.

Who knows. I very seriously doubt an assistant coach leaving would motivate a player of his caliber to switch schools. Brown is a stud whoever he plays for and he knows it. We might have encouraged him to matriculate elsewhere in light of "extenuating circumstances". We still reloaded without him.

If he was having "extenuating circumstances", I am sure Robe let him go and wished him well! If the kid just had a change of heart and no longer wanted to come to Louisiana, I promise you Robe still let him go and wished him well as Robe does not want anyone on his team that does not want to either do the work on and off the field, work in the classroom or be on the team.
