I was wondering if the 12 recruits mentioned in todays paper still had to clear next years fall ball, or are they given a mulligan?

went out to the baseball park met coach Rob, they are installing new lights (to increase the candle power)he tells me it's a $50,000.00 project at no cost to the university and the playing field looks awesome, the team report Jan. 11th and practice starts the 12th. i'm ready "GEAUX CAJUNS."
"GEAUX CAJUNS." YEAH!!!!! Did he say anything aout the sound system being replaced?

My two loves Baseball and Tennis
i can't help but mention the interview jay, had with coach Rob, i mean, am i the only one who heard and appreciate what he said especially about of all his players their were no F's,and what was it? 17 out of 22 made the deans list.....wow! i mean that's great, but i guest i'm the only one who think that it's great what these coaches and players are doing; but i do know this, coach sets the standard at a high mark. Congratulation to coach Rob and his staff for a job well done.
I think what we have here is the Michael Southall effect.
Even though no one on the team may have been in jeopardy, it probably caught the entire athletic departments attention, and in a weird irony, raised all ships.
i understand what it is you are saying, but, Rob always had high standards and i don't think it should be over looked or comparedd to southall.....i was trying to point out what can/should happen and they are to be congratulated. Oh! did you know he Mayfield if off the team for getting a DUI,...."DISCIPLINE."
i only heard bits and pieces although it is true plenty of baseballers on the dean's list as well as i believe as many as 5 players will be intorduced in may as 2004 graduates..
wondering if i think i heard is what i heard..
something to the effect that if everyone comes back next year and with those new players then added, that a trip to the world series seems likely? .. am i correct in my recollection? and if so.. what was the premise for his saying that?
Exactly how old is "oldman".......
A special thanks goes to Chris Domingue. Volunteer Coach in charge of player academics. It is his job to make sure the kids are going to class & making the grade.
