Three words: low post offense. The type of motion offense that our coaching staff loves to run requires that you have somebody playing forward or center who can pull down an o-rebound off the miss from the corner and then score. Neither Barr, Adiefe, nor Batiste has shown any sign of consistently doing this in any of the games that I've seen them play this season.

The other problem: getting some scoring from the high post. That's what is bad about Gradingo going into a slump like we've seen the past the few games and having Lago in the game where we normally would have Daigle. Motion offenses need someone who can either drive or dish from the top of the key or be able to consistently hit a jump shot from that point.

The next two games don't help. Playing UT-Knoxville on their home court is bad enough when you do have a good team. And, it's sad that we're in this shape in the first year in a long time when LSU A&M of BR is having a down year.

    Oh well.

Where have you been? LSU has been down in basketball for a few years now.

So we can't score from the low post or the high postwhere else is there? 3/4 court? Yikes.

As much as I hate this style of offense, we should be runnin' and gunnin' a' la' UNLV and Loyola-Marymount of the late 80's early 90's.

We have a bunch of thoroughbreds. Let 'em run.

And we can get Don Allen to do the play by play!

Recently, one of the players said they were surprised that they have virtually
NO set plays. So basically, it's just street basketball. It is quite evident that this program is not well run, period. Very disappointing.
