Thread: It's back to the drawing board for Ragin' Cajuns

  1. UL Basketball It's back to the drawing board for Ragin' Cajuns

Ragin' Cajuns basketball coach Robert Lee has to be feeling like Wile E. Coyote today.

He got his shipment of Acme Parts - Lamar Roberson and Emmanuel Adeife - in the mail.

He had the Road Runner - North Texas - right where he wanted him.

And when Lee was in just the right position to spring the trap, it blew up.

OK, so this one was a dud, but it's not the end of the cartoon, only the beginning.

I appreciate your passion Brad.. and I see what you see from time to time.. I've been calling for a coaching change, while at the same time pointing out, in my humble opinion, what Lee's short coming have been (since he's been at the helm). After we beat McNeese and ULM, people started jumping back on the wagon, and I said winning could momentarily pull the wool over the majority of fans eyes..

This team has enough talent to win some games DESPITE Robert Lee. But coaching intricacies (i.e. half court set, defensive schemes, juggling the lineup) will and have been hindering this team..

Our talent w/ good coaching = Tournament team
Our talent w/ average coaching = 20 win team
Our talent w/ bad coaching = 13-15 win team
