You mean I have to go to the game to watch continuous live action?... not fair, not fair.

We stand around on defense and let their guards get all the penetration they want, make easy inbounds passes, then foul because we are out of position.

This is typical UL basketball year in and year out now. I am so sick of watching this kind of basketball. We'll beat up on Louisiana College and get beat by anybody who is good and we'll get schooled by teams like WKU. This is street basketball. We keep it close because we have athletes, not because of coaching. What in the world do they practice every day? I was expecting a lot more after reading about these guys. We may come back and win this game, but that won't change my opinion of the kind of basketball we play. I'd rather see a slower pace, Princeton type of basketball than this street stuff. When will we ever get a coach who coaches real basketball? _
I've been a little more patient this year... just waiting to see these guys get used to each other. I'm about to implode about the lack of offensive intelligence. I regard poor free throw shooting, as a team, as indicative of a poorly disciplined team. There is no excuse for such pathetic free throw shooting. As I write, I'm hearing us go into another collapse.

I'm trying to be positive...we are good at blocking shots.

    NT pulling away...

    NT 59
UL 39 9:24 left. This is horrible.

the lids have been on the baskets for us and UNT has 10 three-pointers...just one of those nights. Not much for free throw shooting either...15 of 35 combined. Hopefully Daigle is the missing piece, Roberson is a help, Adeife isn't producing like I had hoped.

I am really gonna be sick of Tristan Thompson if he does this to us for two more years also!

1.) Adeife is here to rebound, thats all.
2.) Roberson forces the ball too much.
3.) Gradnigo was taking control o the game early in the second half, then Lee took him out and we started to fall apart.
4.) Do we even run an offense? I've geard that we run the offense Memphis runs. They run an international style offense where all 5 players can shoot jump shots. It doesn't work when nobody can make a shot.
5.) We don't have a point guard to run the offense, because we don't run an offense. Therefore, McCoy and Willie get a pass.
6.) North Texas ran a tough perineter defense and we could not do anything on offense. We have no inside presence.

Anybody disagree, let me know and we can discuss it. This is just what I see sitting here in the Dome. Others may have a different point of view.

I must say that the officiating was consistantly horrible. This was the first time I have ever seen a shot clock violation as well as a team be granted a time out when neither team had possession of the ball.
