Net Applications today released their latest worldwide browser market share stats for the month of June. Internet Explorer market share is up 0.21%, from 58.17 percent to 58.38 percent. Among the Internet Explorer versions, IE11 showed a modest growth by increasing by 0.2% from 17.01 percent to 17.03 percent. Internet Explorer 8 remains the most popular browser in the market with about 20.89% market share. Developer’s nightmare IE6 is now at 3.55%, we expect the number to go down in the coming months as Microsoft has ended the support for Windows XP in which it was the default browser. Among other browsers, Google Chrome gained nearly 2% to grab 19.34% of the browser market while Firefox lost few percentage to now hold 15.54% of the market.
