He will have time to do that. If he has the frame and the athletic ability, it should not be a problem. There are tons of examples where high school tight ends have been converted to stud offensive tackles in college (and later nfl) due to their athletic ability.

    * i know Keyes is not a hs tight end, but mentioned that for reference of tackles being developed instead of stepping on campus 300 + pounds with the athletic ability required to protect a qb's blind side

This kid will need at least 20-30 more pounds to be a starter at left tackle for UL. He will get thrown around if not.
Tech, Houston, Central Fl and mizzou didn't seem to be too concerned. Might be on if the best guys we sign this year... Hope we can keep him????

Excellent pickup by UL, he will probably receive more offers as the season goes, but he really sounds like he wants to be a Ragin Cajun. Welcome to UL Marcus.

Can still grow another 1' or 2'?!?!?

If that happens then maybe he should consider a career in hoops instead of football.

I really think as this current construction gets to the IPF addition of 75,000sqft portion, Louisiana will land even more BIG FISH!
