Given a chance to play Division I football a little further away from his Mississippi roots, Vernon Wolfe decided to take it.
The wide receiver from Hinds Community College in Mississippi told The Daily Advertiser on Tuesday that he has committed to sign with UL.
Wolfe intends to send a binding national letter of intent today - the first day junior college recruits can do so. The Vicksburg native will enroll for spring semester classes, which start Jan. 14.
