The Eunice Police Department received a call from Union Pacific Railroad late Friday night stating that an east-bound train had just struck a pedestrian.
Officers were directed to the area between N 5th to N 2nd Streets. The conductor provided a description of a male wearing a green-hooded sweat shirt and long shorts with a bike. Several officers searched the area along the tracks attempting to locate a victim. No victim was found after searching for over two hours. Officers then obtained the train information before they left the area.
